Patrick Dodson is a practitioner/researcher who has worked as a professional cook and life coach for over 25 years. He has brought these two passions together as a health coach, focusing on bi-directional interactions between mood and food. His undergraduate studies in psychology (Massey University), and post graduate research (Victoria University of Wellington) in health psychology has led to innovative approaches to coaching methods and practice. These practices are being developed alongside of his work with cancer patients, and in his development of compassionate responses to mood/food interactions.
