Sabina Ziolkowski is a Health and Wellness Coach, yoga and breathwork teacher, and experienced marketing and events professional with a diverse background in wellbeing, communication, and practical creative skills.
After many years working in marketing and event management, Sabina has recently shifted her professional focus towards health and wellness coaching. She holds a Professional Certificate in Health and Wellness Coaching from Wellness Coaching Australia. Her approach is client-centred, strengths-based and grounded in coaching psychology, supporting people to create realistic, sustainable changes that work within the context of their everyday lives.
Sabina is also a qualified yoga teacher, meditation teacher and breath coach. She has taught yoga and breathwork for several years and has developed and facilitates her own six-week Meditation and Breathwork program. Her teaching ranges from foundational breath awareness and functional breathing through to pranayama practices, meditation and guided deep relaxation. She is particularly interested in making these practices accessible and practical, so they can be used beyond the yoga mat to support everyday wellbeing.
Before moving into coaching, Sabina spent much of her career in marketing and event management, including managing one of Australia's largest hospitality trade exhibitions. Working across marketing, communications, events and small teams meant developing a broad range of hands-on skills, from strategy and project management through to creating the collateral needed to bring campaigns and events to life.
Canva has been part of that toolkit for many years. Sabina has used it extensively to create social media content, presentations, promotional campaigns, event collateral, print materials and resources across both her professional and small-business work. In her Canva sessions, she brings a marketer's eye together with practical, real-world experience to help health coaches create professional materials without needing to be graphic designers.
Across her sessions, Sabina's approach is the same: practical, approachable and focused on giving people skills they can confidently put into practice straight away.
Breathwork Session (30 minutes)
Health coaches are increasingly asked by clients for practical tools to manage stress, anxiety and overwhelm and breathwork is one of the most accessible, evidence-informed tools available. In this fast-paced, hands-on session, Sabina will introduce the foundations of breathwork and equip attendees with techniques they can start using with clients straight away.
The session opens with a brief centring practice to settle the group, followed by a concise overview of the theory behind breathwork, including the stress response versus the relaxation response and the role of the vagus nerve, giving attendees a working understanding of why these techniques work before diving into practice.
The remainder of the session is experiential: attendees will be guided through four breathwork techniques suited to client work, including extended exhale breathing, box breathing and alternate nostril breathing (Nadi Shodhana), with quick guidance on when to use each and key contraindications to be aware of.
By the end of this session, attendees will be able to:
- Explain, at a basic level, how breathwork shifts the nervous system
- Guide four breathwork techniques with their own clients
- Identify which technique suits which client situation (e.g. acute stress vs. pre-performance focus vs. settling before sleep)
No prior breathwork experience is required, just a willingness to breathe along.
Canva Beginners (30 minutes)
Canva has become one of the most useful tools in a health coach's business for social media graphics, client handouts, presentations and more, but many coaches have never had a proper introduction to it. In this practical, beginner-friendly session, Sabina will walk attendees through the essentials of navigating Canva with confidence.
Drawing on her own self-taught design experience from years in marketing and event management, Sabina will demystify the platform for those who are new to it or have only dabbled. The session covers the core building blocks: finding and customising templates, working with text, and adding and editing images. All the fundamentals needed to start creating professional-looking materials without a design background.
By the end of this session, attendees will be able to:
- Confidently navigate the Canva interface and locate key tools
- Find, customise and adapt templates for their own use
- Add, format and style text within a design
- Insert and adjust images to suit their layout
No design experience necessary — just bring your curiosity (and a Canva account, free or paid).
Canva Advanced (30 minutes)
Once the basics are covered, the next step for health coaches using Canva is consistency - making sure every social post, handout and presentation looks like it belongs to the same brand. In this session, Sabina will show attendees how to move beyond one-off designs and start working smarter using Canva's brand kit and template features.
Drawing on her own practical design and marketing background, Sabina will guide attendees through setting up a brand kit (colours, fonts and logos) and using templates strategically to save time while keeping their materials polished and recognisably "on-brand." This session is ideal for coaches who are comfortable with Canva basics and want to streamline how they create content going forward.
By the end of this session, attendees will be able to:
- Set up and apply a brand kit (colours, fonts, logo) across designs
- Build or adapt templates for repeated use (e.g. social posts, client resources)
- Maintain visual consistency across their marketing materials with less effort
Some prior familiarity with Canva is recommended (covered in the Canva Beginners session).
